Join us for an evening of mahjong, great food, and community at our upcoming Mahjong Supper Club at Golden Phoenix.
Whether you’ve always wanted to learn the game or you’re already a seasoned player looking for a fun social evening, this event is designed for everyone.
The evening includes a shared catered meal at Golden Phoenix followed by organised mahjong play in a relaxed and welcoming setting.
New to Mahjong?
Beginner tickets are priced slightly higher as they include guided coaching throughout the evening. You’ll learn:
- the rules of the game
- how to build winning hands
- core strategy and gameplay
- table etiquette and flow
By the end of your first session, you’ll be able to confidently sit down and play a full game, and yes, beginners have even won on their very first night (it’s not unheard of!).
Beginners will be seated together so you can learn comfortably alongside other new players with support throughout the evening.
Already know how to play?
Experienced players will be grouped together, making this the perfect opportunity to:
- meet fellow mahjong players
- sharpen your strategy
- enjoy uninterrupted gameplay
- reconnect with the social side of mahjong
No teaching, no waiting, just sit down and play.
